PST Central & Senior Time Zone Results

The Pierre Swim Team had five members participate in the 14 & Under Central Zones Championship held in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, August 1-4, 2014. Aidan Burke, Marlee Dravland, Andrew Herrlein, Allycen Herrman, and Ella Ward-Zeller represented South Dakota along with several other swimmers throughout the state. There were swimmers from 10 different states/regions competing at the meet.
Marlee Dravland achieved a personal best and A time in the Girls 13-14 200 back. Andrew Herrlein had a great weekend with personal bests and A times in the 11-12 100 breast and 200 breast. Allycen Herrman also had a new personal best and A time in the girls 11-12 100 breast.
Wyatt Rumrill represented South Dakota at the Senior Zones Championship held in Minneapolis, MN. He was the only male in the 15-19 age group who qualified to swim with the South Dakota team. Wyatt had a remarkable swim in the 100 breast, setting another SD State Record with a time of 1:06.47. This also qualifies him for the USA Swimming Junior Nationals in December.
Central Zone is one of four zones for USA Swimming and consists of Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Lake Erie, Michigan, Midwestern, Minnesota, Missouri Valley, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Ozark, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
