Post 8 Drops Two In Bismarck

Post 8 did not start the final week of their regular season the way they wanted to as they lost both games of a double header to Bismarck last night.
Post 8 would go down 5 to 0 after two innings but would battle back to get it to 5 to 4, but were never able to get that last run to tie it up. Kyle Stover takes the loss he went five and two thirds innings, gave up five runs, seven hits, struck out one and walked one. Jalen Ziegler from Bismarck takes the win going four innings, gave up four runs, five hits and struck out three.
In game two Pierre would again lose another one run game this time it was 4-3. Post 8 had the 3-2 lead going to the bottom of the seventh when Austin Hoss threw a wild pitch that ended up scoring two runs to win the game. Hoss takes the loss he went one-third of an inning, surrendered three runs and three hits. Mason Thorenson started the game for Bismarck he went four innings, allowed two runs, one hit and striking out four. Garrett Stout started the game for Post 8 he went five innings, surrendered zero runs, one hit, struck out six and walked one.
Post 8's record drops to 26-15 on the year and they will play their final regular season games of the year on Saturday as they will travel to Watertown for a double header on starting at 5 and 7 pm. You’ll be able to both games of the double header right here on Today’s KCCR.
